I don't know if you know this, but I have anxiety.
Crochet has been a fantastic outlet for my nervous energy.
It gives me something to do with my hands while I watch TV or when we're hanging out at the dog park.
I taught myself using YouTube videos and with tips from fantastic communities on Facebook and Reddit.
As you can see from the examples below, I'm hooked on amigurumi.
Most of the work below was done with 100% cotton yarn, but I am transitioning to more sustainable yarn like hemp and bamboo blends.
